Thailand ,this  immensely likable country , inhabited by great, cheerful, always  with a cordial smile and  with a Buddhist gesture of welcoming newcomers, people . It is always a great joy to visit  “Amazing Thailand”, as often it is called in marketing presentations . There are  many other  attractive , colourful  names in Thailand .  “Reliable Jewelry”  or “Charming Beer Bar”, are pure formulas to  present only the best  of Thailand and draw attention of  tourist  to this fabulous country.  Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, being  a great metropolis is great example of Thailand  vibrancy . Bangkok is vibrant place of continual development of all elements of infrastructure. Elegant hotels, high-speed rail transportation called the “Sky Train” and the underground, fast train connection with new Airport  are only  few examples of city ,  which from year to year  is getting  truly easy to travel to  and within  its  extensive urban  territory.  Bangkok, provides  a wide range of attractions. Here you can eat tasty, make the attractive purchases in the wonderful air-conditioned stores or in the bustle of hot nights on city street stalls, as well as you can see the monumental buildings of the royal palace and other buildings of colorful Thai Buddhist temples specific.The preferred place to start exploring the monuments in Bangkok, as examples of the elegant hotel “Tai Pan”, located at the famous Sukhumvit, is the rapid movement of the river Chao Phraya. Of course, in an elegant manner, quickly and cheaply by train  “Sky Train”.  By the river  “long-tail boats”, or water buses  await one  enable inexpensive and very enjoyable trip to the historic city center which is “Wat Phra Kaeo,”  or  to the  61-acre  “Royal Grand Palace.” Right here on the river, watching the activity of life, where dozens of boats, boats, in constant dancing on the waves of the river, conquers the bridge to getting passengers to their fast divorce the districts bordering the dozens of channels of Bangkok, you can see why Bangkok is called not only city of angels but also the “Venice” South-East Asia. “Royal Grand Palace,” it should be noted that this is the finest example of the typical architecture of Thailand. When King Rama I of Thailand, in 1781 he assumed the throne, gave the beginning of Chakri dynasty, he also decided to move its headquarters across the river Chao Phraya. It was in this historic moment first official beginning of construction of the complex “Grand Palace”, in which there is a famous temple of Wat Phra Kaeo, dominated by the famous, only 66 centimeters statue  of Emerald  Buddha .  This figurine, despite modest physical size, holds  huge power of fame and popularity amongst Thai people and  travelers alike . As it is believed . “Emerald Buddha” has a powerful spiritual power  . Just across the river CHO Phraya is the famous temple of Wat Arun resembling with its shape , typical  Buddhist temples, stupas. Bangkok  is  full of  many  magical temples known in Thai languages “WAT”,  which are worth visiting in order to deepen knowledge about the history of Thailand. WAT BOWONNIWETWIHAN enjoys a special position of attractiveness with its historical tradition of the coronation of Kings Rama VI and Rama VII .While in Bangkok, one can not ignore the famous WAT PHO in which the lying position is located 45 meters length of an enormous statue of Buddha. Bangkok is also a “base” from which can be taken a lot of interesting escapades to nearby  villages  . One of trips can be visit  to the “Floating Market”. This is experience  of the  true delight  as one absorbs the typical atmosphere of the market, on which the exchange of products  takes place . On the small boats   deftly controlled by, smartly dressed ,in colorful costumes  like Thai “wrap around” with the practical yet artistic bamboo  hats  , Thai  women  who present the visitors with  an unforgettable  views .  Other interesting visit away from Bangkok  can be trip  to  the River Kwai . For many it  is full of pain  experience , connected with the fate of prisoners of  WWII . Being the prisoners of  the  troops  of  Japanese  Imperial  army during the  WWII   they were put  through  appalling conditions of  tropics, hunger, physical exhaustion    while building  railway route from Thailand  to Burma. The Japanese wanted the to use  this railway to  transport troops to fight the allied forces  on other side of the border , in Burma. Drama of  railway construction with the  famous bridge, bombed many times by the British air force, often referred to as “The Bridge on the River Kwai”, known for its strategic importance in the battles of the Second World War in the South – East Asia, has been immortalized in the movie with an identical title. Full Day trip to the area where there  brings one also to town of KANCHANABURI .  These interesting places  one can reach  by flying   from Europe via Warsaw and Hanoi  , while using LOT Polish Airlines and  Thai International Airways which  provide  the services to Bangkok from USA , Australia  , Asian destinations and New Zealand  .
